Experience

Infant and Child-Parent Pyschotherapy

Early childhood intervention gives families the tools to build parent-child trust, security and bonding. When a parent is traumatized, the child becomes traumatized as well. An infant hears and feels anxiety and fear from their parent. Sometimes a parent transfers their fear onto the child causing him or her to lose confidence.

For 30 years I have worked with both parents and children to help reunite them them as a family. Early childhood intervention gives families the tools to improve their lives. Together we can grow a new trust between parent and child in order that both may build secure attachments with one another and with other family members and their community.
