Welcome! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist focused on relationship-based treatment for mental health issues, including attachment and trauma in infancy, early childhood, pre-teens, teens, and their family. For over 30 years I have helped individuals and families repair the effects of trauma and stress in their lives. I believe the earlier we address emotional, developmental, social, and individual (behavioral) functioning, the better we can assist the family or individual to make life-long changes.

 

After receiving my MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, I became a clinical intern/volunteer at Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills in the Early Childhood Center and Cheerful Helpers Therapeutic and Preschool Centers. I assisted with hands-on work in the Preschool and Infant Parenting Services (PIPS) focused on Early Childhood Psychotherapy for outpatient treatment.

I created, developed and implemented the first 0-5 program for two agencies now widely used in the field. My clinical strengths are in trauma, play therapy, child development, family therapy, teens, depression, military families, parenting and infant to 5-year old children and adult counseling.
